Hunter Safety Education

The California Deer Association offers Hunter Safety classes through many of its local chapters. To be eligible to apply for the many hunting opportunities sponsored by CDA, you must have successfully completed California state Hunter Safety Education. Youth Hunter Education Shooting Sports Camp
June 21 - 25, 2011
Youth ages 10 to 15 can now register for this 5 day camp in Frazier Park, California, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Click for the flier and registration information.

In the meantime, the California Department of Fish and Game offers Hunter Safety Education classes throughout the state. Check their website for a schedule of programs available in your area.
